Put to the test on stage and in the studio, the Keith Urban Signature Guitar Pick is designed in partnership by D'Addario and Keith Urban to capture superior and versatile tone. Made from a custom Ultem blend, this pick features three distinct playing surfaces: a standard, pointed tip; a rounded smooth tip for warmer tone; and a textured rounded tip for a harmonically edgier tone.
D'Addario says:
"The Pick With Three Sides
Designed in partnership with Keith Urban, this three-sided pick is made of a custom blend of Ultem (found in our Cortex range).
Each side provides a vastly different playing surface and, therefore, tone. The standard pointed tip is similar enough to Cortex (which we posted about recently). The rounded tip is a warmer sound with less attack than the pointed. The textured edge is a very aggressive, biting tone that adds a harmonic edge to every note, perfect for screaming bends.
With practise you can switch sides whilst playing, really varying your tone mid-riff!"
