Bass guitar strings are composed of multiple layers of wrap wire and this gives Jim Dunlop an opportunity to mix the materials used. For these Hybrid (Dual Dynamic) bass strings Dunlop has used an inner layer of stainless steel wire and outer layer of nickel wire for a fresh take on electric bass tone.
