GHS Nickel Rockers Pure Nickel Rollerwound 11-58 Electric Guitar Strings, Low Tune

Aside from having one of the coolest names in the store the GHS Nickel Rockers are really the answer to most players’ tone and feel woes.  When an electric guitarist comes to us asking for a warmer sound we tend to recommend pure nickel strings.  This is due to the inherent smooth high-frequency response of this material - you know some strings just sound too bright, yes, these don’t!

GHS also rollerwinds the wrap which slightly flattens the wire for a smoother feel.  Combine this and pure nickel warmth with a big round core and we find ourselves with a set of strings that sound bold and warm with definition that’s smooth.
