This is a 3-ply black-white-black, modern-style back plate for Fender Stratocaster. It has a large string slot box, slightly offset, for easy string changes.

NB. This photograph shows the backplate with the thin plastic protective film hence the frayed edges and bobbly texture. We have chosen not to remove this to protect the pickguard in transit.
