Jim Dunlop Zakk Wylde Nickel 10-60 Electric Guitar Strings

Zakk Wylde, the reigning Berzerker of heavy metal guitar and shred, has a host of signature guitar strings and gear emblazoned with his iconic artwork. His collaboration with Jim Dunlop has lasted over 20 years, showing his love for the manufacturer.

Zakk’s pretext for joining any brand is that he must fully believe in and use the product himself. He’s spent years road-testing and tweaking these strings before giving approval to produce them with his name and signature artwork.

The 2024 release of Zakk Wylde signature strings has the optimum balance of tone, strength, and feel. Using a technology called True Balance, Jim Dunlop has produced strings that are tonally balanced from string to string as well as balanced in feel.

These strings provide thick yet tight low-end with aggressive midrange and definition. So, so good for heavy metal and thrash tones, and equally as versatile.
